BIHERON, Marie-Catherine, French anatomist, 1719-1786. Marie became quite famous for her lifelike anatomical models. In 1771 she lectured before the Crown Prince of Sweden on his visit to Paris. Her models were so realistic that only the body-odour was missing. However, she sold only completed models and never revealed her technology or know-how.
